Legal

Privacy policy.

The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and stores nothing you type into it. We only hold what you choose to send us.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by IP Futures (“we”, “us”). For any question about this policy or your personal information, write to info@ipfutures.org.

What this website collects

Browsing this website does not require an account, and we do not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools.

When you submit the expression of interest or contact form, what you typed is sent once, over an encrypted connection, to our hosting provider Cloudflare, which forwards it to us as an email and does not retain a copy. Nothing you type is stored on this website.

What you send us by email

If you email us or submit a form, including an expression of interest, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, organisation, country and a description of your intellectual property and goals.

We use this information to:

  • reply to you and assess whether we can help;
  • carry out any work we later agree with you;
  • keep a record of our correspondence.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask to hear from us.

Sharing

We do not pass your details or your submission to prospective partners, funders or other third parties without your agreement. We rely on service providers, such as our email and hosting providers, who process information on our behalf, and we may disclose information where the law requires it.

Third-party services this website loads

To display the site, your browser requests files from a small number of other services. As with any web request, they receive your IP address and basic browser details:

  • Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website, forwards form submissions to us by email, and keeps standard server logs for security and reliability.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.
  • jsDelivr and unpkg supply the open-source code and map image used for the animated globe on the home page.

Each of these services handles that data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep information

We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for the purpose you sent it and for any engagement that follows, and afterwards only as long as required for legal, accounting or record-keeping reasons. If you would like us to delete an enquiry that did not lead to an engagement, ask and we will.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data-protection law, including the right to complain to your data-protection authority. To make a request, email info@ipfutures.org.

International correspondence

We work with people in many countries. Information you send us may therefore be stored or read in a country other than your own.

Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
